- Child
Asthma:
Improve the health and well-being of asthmatic children and their
families by providing education, fostering collaboration and strengthening
resources
- Obesity
- Reduce and prevent obesity in Alamance county.
- Chronic
disease - reduce the rates of heart disease/stroke, cancer
and diabetes in our community.

- Implement
a Smoke-Free Restaurant Recognition Campaign.
- Increase
the number of school children who make healthy food choices in
school cafeterias by instituting Winner's Circle (please make
this a link) in the area school system.
- Increase
level of physical activity in two area elementary schools through
the Take 10! Program.
- Collaborate
with the Burlington Downtown Corporation to conduct biannual walking
program, Alamance Walks.
- Organize
Diabetes Prevention Programs in area churches.
