access to and knowledge of fitness options and working in schools
to implement successful demonstration projects, that once proved,
could be implemented system-wide
- Gang Violence Initiative: Collaboration with
the YMCA, exploring health implications in its gang initiative
- Public Awareness Campaign: For substance abuse
and mental health-educating the public and reducing problems cause
by stigma and myth in these areas
- Senior Center: Collaboration with the Council
for Senior Citizens developing health components of a new senior
center
